Residential development and construction businesses are continuing to turn a steady level of sales and settlements, according to developer Becton.

In the Sydney suburb of Kensington, 88 apartments are under contract or have been reserved by the developer.

In some cases construction has commenced with an expected completion date of June 2010.

Becton’s urban renewal partnership in NSW has achieved 31 exchanged contracts and a further eleven reservations (out of a total of 56 dwellings for private buyers) to 31 December 2009 in Bonnyrigg, in Sydney’s west.

Becton’s latest project called Divercity, a residential development in Waterloo, was released to the public in December 2009. The first development stage comprises 75 apartments, 33 of which are yet to be sold.
