McGrath Estate Agents has announced the opening of three new metropolitan Brisbane offices, marking a strategic expansion targeting key metro areas with strong growth potential.
McGrath Estate Agents has announced the opening of three new metropolitan Brisbane offices in Ascot, Samford and Beenleigh in what it calls a “strategic expansion”.
The total number of McGrath offices in Queensland’s capital has been brought to 15, in a bid to continue its focused expansion in the River City.
McGrath Ascot will be operated under selling principal, Chrese Morley, who has lived locally for more than 40 years and brings over 18 years’ property experience.
Morley will be backed by a sales team of three, including Keith Mahon as a partner and business director.
Meanwhile, McGrath’s Samford office will be led by experienced local agent Chelsea Pickering, who has lived in the region for 17 years.
Finally, the new McGrath Beenleigh office will be led by principals and commercial agents Peter Laoudikos and Ben Sands, who will be backed by a team of 11.
McGrath’s head of franchise network, Chris Mourd, said the principals of all three offices were renowned and respected franchise partners with knowledge about their respective locations.
He also said the opening of the new metropolitan Brisbane offices was more than a geographic diversification, saying it was instead a “strategic expansion”.
“We have a great diversity of clients and properties that we represent, so we have sought three important locations that are representative of our desired reach in an important metro area,” he said.
Additionally, he said the network believes a continued emphasis on infrastructure ahead of the Olympic Games will stem growth in line with the company’s vision.
McGrath’s Ascot office, located 7 kilometres from Brisbane CBD between the Brisbane River and Eagle Farm Racecourse, will service areas from Hendra to Hamilton and Eagle Farm to Clayfield.
According to Morley, the liveability of the particular suburbs will be a catalyst for growth.
“Ascot is a predominantly a family-oriented suburb with a high percentage of owner-occupied homes. It is very much sought-after by professionals looking for space and a lifestyle close to the CBD,” she said.
Meanwhile, the network said the McGrath Samford office was strategically placed to cater for the “premium lifestyle belt” on Brisbane’s north-west fringe.
“The new office will service the area from Ocean View in the north to Camp Mountain in the south, from Whiteside on the eastern fringe to the edge of Mount Glorious in the west,” it said.
Finally, McGrath said its Beenleigh office in the growth corridor that joins Brisbane to the Gold Coast will offer excellent connectivity through major motorways and rail links.
According to Laoudikos, the area offers growth opportunities for investors, young families and first home buyers.
“The cost to purchase in Beenleigh offers great affordability with excellent growth upside,” he said.
“New infrastructure for the area includes plans to upgrade Beenleigh Connection Road and City Road.”
“This will see a revitalisation, a reduction of congestion, and improvement in travel times which will add appeal to those buyers wanting to capitalise on the area’s affordability,” he concluded.
