The inaugural REB Innovation Awards 2025 is a celebration of the bold thinkers and trailblazers transforming Australia’s real estate landscape, hosted in support of Principal Partner, LockedOn.
The real estate industry has been transformed by market changes and technological innovation over the last few years. In light of this, REB has launched the REB Innovation Awards to spotlight the top-performing innovators leading the change in the real estate sector.
The first-ever awards program shines a spotlight on operational excellence, cutting-edge technology, and forward-thinking innovation.
The REB Innovation Awards broadly recognises excellence across real estate – from standout agents, property managers, and buyer’s agents, to leading aggregators, networks, and proptech platforms redefining the industry.

Securing an REB Innovation Award is a desirable accolade that provides trailblazing real estate professionals with nationwide recognition. Being honoured as a finalist or winner has the potential to build credibility and help professionals stand out in a competitive market.
The awards ceremony also provides attendees with a rare opportunity to network among innovators leading the real estate industry.
How to submit
Entrants will be asked to answer four simple questions by recording themselves (either an audio recording or a video) and uploading it to the secure awards portal. This video can be recorded using a mobile phone – no need for green screens or top-quality cameras.
The audio recording or video will be considered as part of your submission, alongside metrics from past awards programs of Momentum Media’s real estate awards, and real estate surveys with Agile Market Intelligence.
Stage 1: Register and lodge submission
Register yourself here and you will be sent a submission portal link with the key steps.
You will be asked to provide an audio recording or video submission for the award categories you want to be considered for.
All entrants will be asked to submit an audio recording or video answering four questions:

What steps have you taken to ensure operational excellence?

Provide an example of innovation in your business over the last 12 months. How has this helped?

How do you ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction?

What is the best example you can provide to demonstrate business growth in 2025?
Your responses will be assessed by a panel of judges.
All submissions are electronic and must be received through our secure awards platform by Tuesday, 22 July 2025.
The awards platform is safe and secure. It’s ISO/IEC 27001 certified and compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), PCI DSS, and more. The information received via the submission will only be shared with the relevant judges for each specific award.
