Raine & Horne has welcomed the 10-person team of an independent Sydney agency to its ranks, who will enhance the brand’s presence in the fast-growing Ryde market.

After servicing the northern Sydney market since 2018 under the name Frankada Property Group, the agency under principal Yiran Zeng, will now operate as Raine & Horne Ryde.

The newly branded office under Zeng will launch with a team of 10 staff, including six sales agents and a growing property management division, who will service the Ryde, Meadowbank, West Ryde and Putney markets.

Raine & Horne said Zeng was expertly equipped to enhance the brand’s Sydney presence, blending local area knowledge and academic insights from her master’s degree in property studies from the University of Queensland, and bachelor of commerce (accounting) from the University of Sydney.

Zeng shared that her academic qualifications have enabled her to offer tailored real estate services to Ryde and the surrounding suburbs.

“My academic background helps me evaluate market trends, conduct feasibility assessments for clients, and provide clear, data-driven advice especially useful for developers and renovators,” she said.

Drawing on her knowledge as a Ryde local, Zeng said the office’s rebranding had coincided with a broad spike in buyer activity within the Sydney market.

“The area continues to see strong buyer demand, particularly among young professionals and families, with open home attendance up by as much as 30 per cent since the start of the year.”

Zeng said that rebranding to the Raine & Horne banner would best enable the office to streamline its branding, marketing and lead generation processes, and pave the way for future growth.

Following the transition, Zeng said the office would be able to actively grow its property management services, and accelerate the expansion of its rent roll across Ryde and the surrounding areas.

“Our property management team is experienced in both residential and commercial, and we’re looking to grow our rent roll significantly with the backing of Raine & Horne,” she said.

Zeng said the newly rebranded Raine & Horne Ryde would be keenly positioned to keep pace with Ryde’s property market, adding that market activity is expected to grow over 2025.

“There’s more energy in the market now than earlier in the year. Buyer demand is growing, and additional interest rate cuts could further stimulate activity,” she said.

The new office opening adds to the recent growth of the Raine & Horne network, which earlier this week recruited Benjamin McDonald as its first ever chief strategy officer.
