Professionals has expanded into the Moreton Bay area with the launch of Professionals Kallangur amid a rolling network rebrand.
Professionals Real Estate has announced its expansion into the Moreton Bay area with the opening of a new office Professionals Kallangur, 30 kilometres north of Brisbane.
The new office will be headed by principal of Professionals Kallangur, Matthew Klauss, along with his wife, Esther, who both make their debut as office owners.
Klauss previously gained his experience at a local independent agency, having switched careers in 2018, moving away from the motor vehicle industry to real estate.
He said the transition to his new role with Professionals was a “natural progression”.
“I witnessed the strengths and limitations of an independent agency model and was looking for an environment with brand cohesion and a supportive team,” Klauss said.
Professionals CEO Sean Hanneberry said that Matthew and Esther would provide a strategic boost to the network’s presence in south-east Queensland.
“They bring enthusiasm and a fresh perspective at a pivotal time for the network and the fast-growing Moreton Bay region, which is projected to welcome more than 300,000 new residents by 2046,” Hanneberry said.
Professionals Kallangur is one of five new offices to open under the network’s refreshed brand, which is being rolled out to 190 offices across Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, and Fiji.
Three of these new offices are located in South Australia, while one is in Victoria.
With his Kallangur office opening as just a team of two, Klauss said that network support from Professionals has been a “game changer” for Esther and himself.
“It’s a big offering. We can pick and choose what will work for us as a new business,” Klauss said.
Klauss said that the office location and his knowledge of the area will serve the region’s diverse market.
“After living and working locally for 15 years, I’ve seen the region evolve. Moreton Bay has something for everyone – families, investors, first home buyers and upsizers.”
“It’s transforming with rezoning and higher density, making it a particularly exciting time to be establishing a new business,” Klauss concluded.
