LJ Hooker has announced a new head of property management as the network aims to grow its property management portfolio and capabilities across Australia and New Zealand.
Cathie Crampton has joined LJ Hooker as the network’s new head of property management Australia and New Zealand, bringing two decades of experience.
Crampton’s previous positions include strategic property management leadership roles, and most recently, Belle Property’s national head of network PM performance and growth.
LJ Hooker said that in the newly created role, Crampton will be responsible for growing the group’s property management portfolio, profit margins, and skills capabilities.
Crampton said she couldn’t pass up the opportunity to join a network with nearly 100 years of industry experience.
“LJ Hooker has traditionally held an industry-leading presence in the property management market in Australia and New Zealand. I want to reinvigorate this legacy and create lasting value for agents and investors,” she said.
“I intend to make a difference by leveling up LJ Hooker’s property management business and the organisation overall.”
She said she was drawn to the role because LJ Hooker wanted to position itself in the property management sector.
“I’m looking forward to working with franchisees, agency property managers and office staff to grow their capabilities, implement our group strategy and, ultimately, provide the highest levels of service to investors and tenants.”
LJ Hooker CEO Christine Mikhael said the network will benefit from Crampton’s expertise.
“We have bold ambitions for property management; I know Cathie’s dedication, experience and strategic leadership will be transformational,” she said.
The announcement follows the network expansion, which recently unveiled two new directors at its office in Young, NSW, as part of its bid to strengthen its position in the industry.
