The acquisition of a Sydney boutique business will boost Laing+Simmons’ property management capabilities and deliver on its strategic growth plans in the eastern suburbs.

Laing+Simmons East Group has acquired independent Prestige Property Agency, which specialises in property management in Sydney’s inner-city and eastern suburbs markets.

The Darlinghurst-based family business, owned and operated by Giselle Ireland, has served the eastern suburbs markets for nearly three decades.

Laing+Simmons East Group’s head of property management, Fyonn Wolf, said the acquisition was part of the network's strategic expansion into Sydney’s eastern suburbs.

Additionally, Wolf said the network will build on Ireland’s loyal client base and respected portfolio, delivering the same quality service and care.

According to Ireland, Laing+Simmons East Group was the best fit to continue her agency’s work as the network has been servicing the eastern suburbs for nearly 60 years.

“After almost 30 years of looking after our clients and their investments, it was important to find the right team to protect the interests of our clients,” she said.

The new acquisition followed Laing+Simmons' launch of a trust accounting service to ease pressure on administrative tasks and dedicate more resources towards customer service and growth.
