Real estate networks McGrath and Knight Frank have opened four new dual-brand offices across Queensland's Wide Bay-Fraser Coast region, strategically targeting the growing region’s commercial and rental markets.

Following the network's first collaborative office in Tamworth earlier this year, McGrath and Knight Frank have launched four new dual-brand offices, located in Bundaberg, Gladstone, Maryborough, and Hervey Bay.

The new offices will be a combination of rebrands and an acquisition, with McGrath offices in Bundaberg and Gladstone, as well as a PRD office in Maryborough, relaunching under the new name.

The Hervey Bay office will be brought to life under the arrangement between McGrath and Knight Frank.

The four new offices will be headed by Ainsley Driver, a McGrath franchisee with over 22 years of real estate experience in the region.

Driver said the Wide Bay-Fraser Coast area has seen strong levels of population growth, and the new offices would allow the networks to capitalise on the strengthening residential and commercial property market.

“Our offices will have many of the same familiar faces across the group, but having the partnership and backing of McGrath and Knight Frank will build on our existing strengths and expertise,” Driver said.

“The two brands combined will provide an unparalleled real estate offering in the region, and significantly, this is the first time there will be a designated commercial franchise brand servicing the whole region.”

Knight Frank Australia CEO James Patterson said the new offices will fill the area's need for stronger support in the commercial property market.

“We look forward to growing the network of McGrath Knight Frank offices around Australia, particularly in underserviced regional areas,” Patterson said.

McGrath head of franchise Christopher Mourd said the Wide Bay-Fraser Coast has been going from strength to strength.

“We see this as an amazing opportunity to support those clients with both residential and commercial property interests in those areas, providing a great point of leverage in those markets with a new buyer pool beyond the state,” he said.

“We are delighted to be doing this alongside our partner Knight Frank, and to be providing residential and commercial services side-by-side,” Mourd concluded.
