Under clear blue skies and crisp spring air, the roar of finely tuned engines has set the tone for one of the most exciting days on the Barry Plant calendar.
From the moment they arrived, guests were buzzing with anticipation as the 2025 Pinnacle Club Drive Day began, taking the network’s top agents on an unforgettable journey through the winding roads of the Dandenong Ranges in a high-octane celebration of their achievements.
Each year, Barry Plant recognises its top 30 highest-achieving agents from the previous 12 months through the Pinnacle Club. This exclusive group represents not only exceptional results, but the dedication, skill and professionalism they bring to their communities. Drive Day is one of the ways Barry Plant recognises and rewards these agents, giving them a memorable experience behind the wheel of some of the latest BMW models.
Barry Plant head of growth, Mark Lynch, said the event is a highlight for Pinnacle Club members.
“It’s a day that everyone in the Pinnacle Club marks on their calendar at the start of the year,” said Lynch.
“It’s great fun and it gives the best agents in our network a chance to celebrate their achievements, step away from the desk, and share stories and strategies with others at the top of their game. It’s as much an opportunity to learn as it is to enjoy themselves.”
In partnership with BMW Doncaster, the day began with Pinnacle Club members gathering at the dealership before setting off in a convoy through the Dandenong Ranges. From sporty convertibles to high-performance SUVs, agents rotated vehicles throughout the drive to experience the full capabilities of BMW’s engineering. The journey combined the thrill of driving with the camaraderie that comes from being part of a high-performing group.
The convoy then arrived at Yering Station Winery for a private lunch. Surrounded by heritage architecture and sweeping vineyard views, the setting offered the perfect opportunity to unwind, reflect and enjoy a gourmet meal paired with Yering Station wines. Members toured the winery, learned about the winemaking process and took in the scenery, making the afternoon both relaxing and enriching.
Barry Plant CEO, Lisa Pennell, highlighted the importance of hosting events like Drive Day.
“Recognition matters in our industry. It is a highly competitive space and people deserve to have their hard work acknowledged, in the right kinds of ways,” said Pennell.
“We take pride in offering a calendar of meaningful events that celebrate the achievements of our top agents. These occasions strengthen our culture, encourage connection across offices, and create opportunities to support one another and share ideas for continued growth.”
Barry Plant’s Drive Day is more than a luxury outing. It is a celebration of excellence and a recognition of the hard work, resilience and professionalism that top agents demonstrate daily. It reinforces that while results are important, acknowledging the people and effort behind those results is equally vital.
As the convoy made its way back to Melbourne, laughter and conversation filled the cars, a reminder of the strong culture and support that defines the Barry Plant network. Drive Day remains a standout event in the Pinnacle Club calendar and reflects a broader commitment to celebrating achievement and inspiring continued success.
The 2025 Pinnacle Club Drive Day was a resounding success, reinforcing Barry Plant’s dedication to recognising its highest performers while motivating the next generation of agents to reach new heights.
