With property management evolving rapidly and expectations rising across the sector, Place New Farm has appointed nationally recognised operator Vita Little to lead its Property Management department, marking a strategic investment in people, systems and long-term performance.
Ms Little brings close to two decades of experience across property management, sales, leadership and national consultancy roles, having worked with more than 50 agencies across Queensland, Victoria, Western Australia and South Australia.
Her career spans hands-on portfolio leadership, award-winning team performance and large-scale operational transformation.
“Property management is at its best when people have clarity, structure and support,” Ms Little said.
“I’ve seen how powerful it can be when teams are set up properly and how quickly things unravel when priorities aren’t clear.”
“What excited me about Place New Farm was the opportunity to apply everything I’ve learned nationally in a business that genuinely values long-term excellence, not short-term fixes.”
Throughout her career, Ms Little has led high-performing property management teams, managing portfolios of up to 700 properties, achieved state and national recognition including Property Manager of the Year, and helped agencies significantly improve retention, compliance outcomes and team sustainability.
Most recently, her work focused on workflow design, legislative prioritisation and change leadership, helping businesses scale without burning out their people.
Since joining Place New Farm, Ms Little has begun implementing custom-built workflows and dashboards designed to clearly identify and prioritise critical, time-sensitive tasks, particularly around legislation and compliance.

“By clearly separating what is legislatively critical from what can wait, property managers regain control of their day. That’s when performance lifts and stress drops.”
Ms Little is also Prosci-certified in change management, specialising in helping teams adopt and sustain new systems and ways of working, a capability increasingly important as agencies navigate ongoing regulatory change and talent shortages.
Place New Farm Director Sarah Hackett said the appointment reflects a deliberate focus on strengthening property management as a core pillar of the business.
“Ms Little brings a rare mix of deep operational experience, property management strategy and genuine people leadership,” Ms Hackett said.
“She understands what property managers are dealing with day to day, but she also has a proven ability to build systems and culture that support growth, compliance and consistency.”
“This appointment is about investing in the future of our business, creating stability for our team, confidence for our landlords and a better experience for tenants.”
Ms Hackett said Place New Farm continues to see strong rental demand across inner-Brisbane, making leadership and structure within property management more important than ever.
“For investors, property management isn’t just about collecting rent, it’s about trust, communication and execution,” she said.
For Ms Little, returning to a senior real estate leadership role was a natural progression.
“Place as a brand offers the leadership, culture and platform to do property management properly, and to build something that lasts.”
Ms Little will place strong emphasis on technology, people-first leadership and scalable systems, with the team actively welcoming aspiring property managers to join the office.
