A new appointment will drive creative and innovative events at Professionals, while strengthening partnerships and sponsorships to enhance member experiences.

Professionals has appointed Andrea Heath as its head of events and partnerships, as she brings more than two decades of experience across corporate events, partnerships, tourism and live production.

The network said Heath brought a blend of creative vision, commercial experience, and industry knowledge to the role.

Prior to joining Professionals, Heath led events for Imagine Cruising, and represented the company as executive producer for Channel 7’s Epic Rail Journeys of the World.

She also served as managing director at Onstage Entertainment for more than 20 years, delivering 200 events annually.

Professionals CEO Sean Hanneberry said that throughout her career, Heath had delivered unique events across the globe.

“Her experience, creativity and disruptive mindset make her the ideal person to lead this next chapter in events for Professionals,” he said.

He also said that, in addition to leading events, Heath will oversee partnerships and leverage sponsors and collaborators to create more meaningful, immersive, high-value experiences.

According to Hanneberry, events played a critical role in collaboration and connection across the network, so it was key to employ someone who could deliver meaningful, high-impact experiences.

“As a member-based network, collaboration is a key to our success. Our culture is built on connection, teamwork, and striving towards a common goal of getting great results for our clients,” he said.

“Professionals underwent a significant and successful business transformation last year, and Andrea’s appointment as head of events and partnerships signals our intent to continue the momentum.”

Heath said curating an event was about creating an experience people genuinely remembered, not just another run-of-the-mill conference.

She said she was drawn to the role at Professionals due to its commitment to elevating the experience for its members.

“I’m really excited by the business transformation Professionals has undertaken over the last year and looking forward to keep things moving and on track with the vision,” she concluded.
