A real estate duo specialising in character homes in Brisbane’s inner south will bring a fresh approach and vigour to the market following their appointment with Aurora Property.

Lead agents Ryan Lim and Lauren Tang have joined Aurora Property, specialising in Brisbane's Highgate Hill and neighbouring suburbs.

Aurora said Team Ryan & Lauren has a reputation for premium outcomes for character-zoned listings in the inner south’s historic neighbourhoods.

“Their close relationships with leading local architects, engineers and town planners help them educate the market on what can be achieved against Brisbane’s character housing overlays,” it said.

Aurora Property’s director of sales – Queensland, Charles Higgins, said Lim and Tang, both under 30, have a youthful energy, a fresh approach to sales, and a drive for growth.

“They’ll hit new levels in 2026 and strengthen the Aurora brand in another of the city’s sought-after markets,” he said.

Tang, who previously worked with Lim at Place Woolloongabba, said Highgate Hill, two kilometres from the CBD, has a vibrant café and dining culture, with neighbourhoods that celebrate the city’s architectural heritage.

She said that because buyers tended to be confused about the design protections on character-zoned homes, education was central to the pair’s approach.

“By working with local experts, we give buyers the confidence to visualise the opportunities that properties offer, generating more competition and stronger offers for sellers,” she said.

Lim said the region continued to be sought out for its traditional Queenslanders with vertical joint (VJ) walls and facades, with buyers adding value through extensions and renovations.

According to Lim, the pair joined Aurora as they had been looking for a platform to build their sales proposition in their core markets

“With Aurora’s marketing and tech support, along with the goal-based support from the leadership team, we’re excited about the growth that’s ahead,” he concluded.
