Entire real estate offices across Greater Brisbane are joining Place Estate Agents, while high-performing agents are also choosing the network as they open new offices or join established Place teams.
A key factor behind many of those decisions is Place’s shared services model, where specialist teams at Place HQ manage everything from marketing, recruitment and HR to finance, legal, compliance, technology, events and training.
The structure allows office owners and agents to focus on what drives results, leading people, serving clients and growing their business, while the leaders at Place HQ manage the operational backbone of the business.
Place Chief Executive Officer Damian Hackett said the model had been refined over more than two decades and was increasingly attracting established offices and ambitious agents looking to scale their careers.
“Running a real estate business can be complex,” Mr Hackett said.
“There’s HR, compliance, finance, marketing, technology, and that’s before you even get to the actual business of selling and leasing property.
“What we’ve built is a structure where all of those services sit behind the scenes so our business owners and agents can focus on leadership, performance and growth, and listing and selling.”
Mr Hackett said the model was particularly appealing to high-performing agents ready to take the next step in their careers.
“There are exceptional agents across Greater Brisbane who want to build something bigger, whether that’s launching their own office or joining a strong existing team,” he said.
“Place gives them a platform with the brand, leadership and operational support already built and proven.”
The strength of that platform was a key factor behind respected Brisbane operator Robbie Lofaro’s decision to rebrand his network of seven offices to Place.
Mr Lofaro, now the CEO of Place Purpose Group, said the move was about positioning his businesses for their next phase of growth.
“As our offices grew, the operational complexity of running multiple businesses grew with it,” he said.
“Place has already built a sophisticated services platform through HQ, so instead of every office trying to manage those functions independently, they’re handled centrally by specialists.
“That allows our leadership teams, agents, BDMs and property managers to stay focused on people, performance and delivering for clients.”
Mr Lofaro said leadership alignment also played a major role in the decision.
“When you’re making a move at this scale, leadership matters,” he said.
“Damian, Sarah, Paul, and the Place leadership team have built a structure that genuinely supports business owners and ambitious agents. It’s a partnership model designed to help people grow.”

The integration has brought offices across Kedron, Forest Lake, Burpengary, North Lakes, Caboolture, Ningi and Beerwah into the Place network.
Mr Hackett said the expansion reflected Place’s long-term strategy of partnering with strong high-performing agents and business owners as Brisbane enters what he describes as a “golden decade” of growth ahead of the 2032 Olympic Games.
“We’ve always believed the future of real estate lies in strong leadership at the office level, supported by a powerful operational platform behind it,” he said.
“As Brisbane grows, we expect more established offices and high-performing agents to choose Place as the platform for their next stage.”
“Our focus is simple: partner with exceptional people and give them the platform to build something extraordinary.”
