Independent agency Aurora Property has announced multiple new appointments to its southern Brisbane operations.
Aurora Property has announced the appointment of a veteran agent, a business development manager, and a residential home specialist to improve its southern Brisbane operations.
The appointments included lead agent Kai Kang, who specialises in Sunnybank Hills and transferred with his three-person team from Ray White, where he wrote $850,000 in gross commission income (GCI), earning him Elite status.
Business development manager Simon Bian and sales executive Bella Qiao, a Rochedale South residential home specialist, have also joined the agency.
The network said the new additions brought its southside team to around a dozen staff across sales and property management, who are committed to servicing the surrounding multicultural communities.
Aurora Property Brisbane lead agent and partner John Heng, who specialises in Robertson, said the team’s expansion would capitalise on Aurora Property’s entry into the southern markets.
Heng said he was familiar with Qiao from his former role, describing her as a disciplined professional skilled at generating appraisals.
“I’m confident she’ll thrive with the support of Aurora Property’s training program,” he said.
Likewise, Heng said Bian was an experienced business development manager, bringing skills and knowledge in property management to build on the office’s service offering in the southside operation.
He added that the agency’s resources would support Kang’s leadership of his team, with marketing and administrative capabilities to help agents focus on client-facing and strategic tasks, enhancing their career progression.
Aurora Property partner and director of sales – Queensland, Charles Higgins, said Heng had built a sturdy platform for growth, and the recent appointments would be an asset to the business.
“Simon and Bella join Aurora Property with exceptional reputations, and I’m looking forward to watching how Kai’s team develops with the backing of our resources,” Higgins said.
He said that by offering the right support behind the scenes, the agency will enable agents to focus on prospecting and client relationships rather than being burdened by paperwork, helping them deliver stronger results.
“We’re supporting more teams within teams, reflecting the ambitions of high-performance agents across South-East Queensland.”
According to Heng, by working alongside professional operators, the agency had managed to stand out and offer something different to its competitors.
“I’ve found people who hold the same customer-service values as I do, and who will positively shape Aurora Property’s brand in our key areas,” he concluded.
