A seasoned auctioneer will strengthen Apollo Auctions’ capabilities in the ACT, fostering competition through buyer engagement and managing high-stakes decisions.
Apollo Auctions has announced the appointment of auctioneer Jeremy Grobben, who brings more than a decade of real estate experience.
According to the network, Grobben will use his diverse background in residential, rural, land, and off-the-plan sales to strengthen Apollo’s capability in the ACT.
Apollo Auctions said it will focus on clarity, structure, and fostering competition through strong buyer engagement, reinforcing the agency’s commitment to delivering consistent, solid outcomes.
Additionally, after four years of competing at the Real Estate Institute of the ACT (REIACT) Championships, the network said Grobben had a commitment to refining his skills at the highest level.
Apollo also said Grobben’s previous experience in business ownership positioned him for success in the role, bringing skills that translated well to the auction environment.
Having owned and operated two restaurants for nine years, the network will benefit from Grobben’s ability to perform under pressure and manage high-stakes decisions.
“His appointment reflects Apollo Auctions’ broader strategy to invest in key markets and partner with high-quality auctioneers who align with the company’s standards and long-term vision,” it said.
Apollo Auctions Australasia general manager, Greg Brydon, said Grobben brought the right balance between instilling confidence in buyers and helping sellers to achieve solid results.
“He’s composed, process-driven, and has a strong ability to read the room and build momentum when it matters most. We’re pleased to have him leading our presence in the ACT,” Brydon said.
“I’m looking forward to contributing to the team and supporting the continued growth of auctions across the ACT,” he concluded.
