A new Knight Frank appointment will work behind the scenes to boost the firm’s operations by forming strong relationships with businesses and stakeholders.

Knight Frank has appointed Mary McLean as its new associate director for its franchise operations team, bringing 18 years of experience in the commercial and business sectors.

McLean previously spent 10 years at CBRE, where she worked alongside Knight Frank’s current head of franchises, Mark Lafferty, before he moved networks.

For the role, McLean will be based in Brisbane, where she will collaborate closely with Lafferty and the company’s franchise network.

Lafferty said McLean had a proven record of improving processes, enhancing services and working with stakeholders through collaboration and strong relationships.

“[McLean] and I have a shared experience with franchise business models and stakeholder engagement that will help us better support and grow our franchise network,” he said.

According to Lafferty, the appointment will enable Knight Frank to provide enhanced service to existing franchisees, as the company continues to expand around Australia.

McLean said she intended to ensure franchisees were well-supported to grow their businesses, while delivering best practices across the network.

“I am eager to get to know the existing franchisees in Knight Frank’s strong network and collaborate with them to achieve successes, as well as onboarding new franchises in the future,” she said.

“The growth of the brand is exciting to see, and I’m thrilled to be included on the journey,” she concluded.
