Jellis Craig has merged with a Brighton agency in a bid to strengthen the network’s expansion across Melbourne’s Bayside region.

Jellis Craig has finalised a merger between its Brighton office and Nick Johnstone Real Estate, doubling its presence in the region.

The move will see director Nick Johnstone and his team joining the office in late June, bringing a broad network and knowledge of Brighton and the broader Bayside area.

Following the merger, the two agencies will be co-branded before Nick Johnstone switches to the Jellis Craig brand at the beginning of next year.

Jellis Craig CEO Andrew McCann said the merger will create further opportunities to service the high end of the market while solidifying the network’s community-focused approach.

“We’re thrilled to be welcoming them to the Jellis Craig group,” he said.

Johnstone said there was a natural alignment between the Jellis Craig office and his own, as they shared the same passion, dedication, and focus.

He said he was ready to continue expanding his agency’s presence alongside his team, backed by Jellis Craig’s tools, capabilities, and branding.

“Their office network locations and broad reach across premium inner suburbs ensure unparalleled exposure and results for our clients,” he said.

“We’re really looking forward to joining the team and seeing what we can achieve together.”

The move followed Jellis Craig strengthening its presence in Melbourne’s Port Phillip and Bayside regions with the merger of Chisholm and Gamon in September 2025.

More recently, the network acquired Ray White Croydon earlier this year as part of its bid to enhance its presence in Melbourne’s lifestyle-motivated eastern suburbs.
