By Staff Reporter 15 June 2010 | 5 minute read

The NSW office of fair trading has announced an $800,000 per annum grant for organisations providing residential rental accommodation, or conducting research into the relationship of landlords and tenants.

The Rental Bond Board Grants Program also provides funding for the establishment and administration of rental advisory services, as well as for aged-care rights services.

Funding is provided to organisations that provide advice and information, casework and community education to assist landlords, tenants and older people in supported accommodation in NSW.

Loans can be provided for a period of up to three years, depending on the project. Applications can be made at any time.
