Stone has continued its expansion across key coastal markets with the launch of a new office, with two principals to leverage their community ties to service the lifestyle-driven region.

Stone Real Estate has announced the launch of its new Stone Yamba | Maclean | Iluka business, building on a pre-existing local presence which operated under another network.

Having opened nine offices across the NSW north coast in the past three years, the group said the move built on its current momentum and reinforced its commitment to high-growth lifestyle markets.

The Maclean office will be led by Nick Potente, having emigrated to Australia from England in 2011 after meeting his wife, Tiffany, who grew up in Maclean.

Since then, Potente has become deeply embedded in the local community, forming strong ties to local sport, schools and long-standing family connections through Tiffany’s Maclean and Yamba roots.

“Nick now proudly considers himself a local. Since entering real estate in 2019, he has progressed quickly through the industry, becoming a business owner in 2022,” Stone said.

The business’ Yamba arm will be led by Kieran Mulvihill, who relocated from Sydney’s Northern Beaches in 2016 with his wife, Jasmine, and their two boys.

According to Stone, Kieran has become a well-known industry leader in the course of his career, initially taking ownership of the Yamba office in 2021.

It said he brought a passion for efficient service, strong results and challenging the way locals thought about real estate, as he was focused on building a modern, client-first agency.

Stone Real Estate chief performance officer, Graeme Hyde, said the launch of the new business was an opportunity to further the network’s footprint across the NSW North Coast.

“Yamba, Maclean, and Iluka each offer something incredibly special, and this is an area with enormous lifestyle appeal and long-term potential,” He said.

Hyde added that the team’s connection to the area made them well-positioned to serve the community, combining their local knowledge with Stone’s technology marketing and systems to create a strong offering for clients.

“The launch of Stone Yamba | Maclean | Iluka further strengthens our position and creates even greater connectivity for clients throughout the region,” he said.

“We are thrilled to welcome Nick, Kieran and their teams to Stone and look forward to supporting their next stage of growth,” Hyde concluded.
