Harcourts has announced its expansion into Western Sydney, launching a new agency focused on building connections within the local community.
The new office will operate under the name Harcourts Sapphire, led by founders Vinay Jhamb and Gunjan, and will cover the suburbs of Parramatta, Westmead, Wentworthville, Baulkham Hills, Norwest, and Schofields.
The duo bring a unique array of skills, combining Jhamb’s background in information technology and data analytics with Gunjan’s doctorate in education and psychology.
Harcourts NSW CEO Andrew McCulloch said the pair's values and prior experience made them the right choice to lead the brand's Western Sydney expansion.
“Their unique professional backgrounds. Unwavering commitment to transparency and genuine passion for the Western Sydney community make them an exceptional fit for the Harcourts brand,” McCulloch said.
“They embody the exact values of trust and diligence that we champion.”
Jhamb said the decision to join the network was driven by their belief that real estate could be used as a platform for community connection.
“We chose to align with Harcourts because the brand reflects our core belief that real estate must be built on integrity, transparency and genuine care,” Jhamb said.
“For us, joining Harcourts was about joining a community that shares our commitment to doing the right thing, supported by world-class systems and training.”
Additionally, the pair are the driving force behind the Rise and Belong Foundation, an initiative dedicated to equipping migrants with job-ready skills, creating opportunities for them to build social connections and running mental health initiatives.
