A new Melbourne Sotheby’s International Realty office will service the state’s north-west, with the network betting on an experienced professional to drive luxury sales in the region.
Melbourne Sotheby’s International Realty has announced the opening of its new Macedon Ranges office, appointing Samuel Johnson as luxury sales consultant.
The new agency will service buyers and sellers across Macedon, Mount Macedon, Woodend, Gisborne, Kyneton, and Daylesford.
The network said the move strengthened its presence in one of Victoria’s key lifestyle and prestige property markets, complementing its current offering on the Peninsula.
Johnson, who will work alongside seasoned professional Sean Parker in the same role, has spent the past seven years with Domain and, previously, eight years with REA Group.
The network said Johnson brought extensive experience across residential real estate, business growth, and industry partnerships.
The company’s CEO, Mitch Armstrong, said Johnson would be an asset to the team, while his partnership with Parker would strengthen the network’s local capability.
“Sam’s extensive property experience across REA and Domain gives him an unrivalled understanding of the property industry and marketing insights, and together they create an incredibly strong leadership team for this next phase of growth,” Armstrong said.
On the other hand, the network said Parker had built a strong reputation across the local prestige area, selling in Macedon, Gisborne and Daylesford, bringing a global perspective to the local market.
He moved to the region with his family in 2018 following a property career spanning Australia, Asia and the Middle East across development, sales, marketing and after-sales care.
Parker said Johnson’s commercial experience and deep understanding of the industry would be invaluable as the network continued to expand its reach in Victoria.
“We’ve built a strong reputation across the Macedon Ranges over many years, and Melbourne Sotheby’s International Realty allows us to pair that local knowledge with one of the world’s most recognised luxury real estate brands,” he said.
Meanwhile, Johnson said Parker’s established presence and relationships, combined with the backing of a global brand, would set the Macedon Ranges team up for success.
“I’m looking forward to delivering superior service for buyers and sellers across the region.”
