A network has launched its new business in NSW’s north-east to service a region where strong growth and tight supply are backing a positive long-term market outlook.
PRD has launched its new service offering in Gunnedah, driven by principal and director Mark Sleiman, alongside long-time local agent Isabel Davis.
Davis said expanding PRD Tamworth’s footprint into Gunnedah was a natural and personal decision, given her family connections in the region.
“My family has been part of the Gunnedah community for more than 35 years and being able to bring PRD into the town means I can give back to the community that has given so much to us,” Davis said.
Sleiman said the move would strengthen service delivery and create greater opportunities for clients across the New England and North West regions.
"Following our success and experience in Tamworth and the Liverpool Plains, we identified Gunnedah as a natural fit for our business and values,” he said.
“We saw a clear opportunity to better service clients moving to and from the area while supporting out-of-town investors in a market with limited supply and strong demand."
Recent PRD data showed Gunnedah’s median house price was $580,000 in Q1 2026, with annual growth of 22.1 per cent.
Additionally, the network said there was only a small number of new dwellings and units planned relative to current demand, supporting confidence in the market’s long-term outlook.
Davis said the combination of recent price growth and tight supply reinforced the network’s decision to expand into the area.
"Gunnedah has always been a resilient market and, as more people and investors recognise the opportunities available in the area, we believe it is well positioned for future growth," she said.
Additionally, PRD’s data also showed Gunnedah rental yields sitting at 4.4 per cent in March 2026, above both the Tamworth local government area (LGA) average of 4.1 per cent and Sydney Metro’s 2.8 per cent, showing the area’s ongoing appeal to investors.
PRD managing director, Todd Hadley, said the expansion showed the strength of the brand’s growth strategy and commitment to supporting clients and communities nationwide.
"Isabel and Mark embody the values that have underpinned PRD’s success for more than five decades: professionalism, community connection, innovation and exceptional customer service,” he said.
“Gunnedah presents tremendous opportunity, and we are proud to see the PRD brand represented by trusted local professionals who are passionate about helping people achieve their property goals.”
