An independent Western Sydney agency has rebranded to a national network after launching from a garage eight years ago.
Regents Park agency, AQ Properties, has rebranded to Harcourts AQ, with managing director Michael Qader joining the network eight years after launching the business from his garage.
Qadar said while he didn’t start off with many resources, he had wanted to build a business that people could trust.
"Over the past eight years, we’ve grown because we’ve always put people first, done the right thing, and genuinely cared about our clients and community,” he said.
“Those values built our business, and they’re exactly why Harcourts felt like the right fit for our future."
Qader said one of his office’s biggest strengths was understanding the area, with the team having grown up and built their lives in the community.
“That local knowledge allows us to offer advice that goes beyond the transaction and genuinely helps our clients make confident decisions.”
Qader said that outside real estate, the team was active in local charities, community initiatives and grassroots sport, as they were committed to the philosophy of giving back.
"We believe in supporting the people and organisations that make our area such a great place to live because when our community succeeds, we all succeed.”
According to Vincent Ianni, director of property management, the business was built on long-term relationships, with landlords and families continuing to trust the team year after year.
"We treat every property as if it were our own, and joining Harcourts gives us even more resources and support while allowing us to maintain the personalised service our clients value,” he said.
Harcourts NSW CEO Andrew McCulloch said Harcourts AQ was an ideal fit for the brand because of its integrity and commitment to clients, and that the network would continue to support the agency in its goals.
“Growing a business from a garage into a respected agency is a fantastic achievement, and we’re delighted to welcome Harcourts AQ to our growing NSW network,” he said.
"Their entrepreneurial journey reflects exactly what Harcourts is about – ambitious people, strong values, and a commitment to delivering exceptional outcomes for their communities.”
