A real estate professional has marked a full-circle moment, returning to the network where he began his career to lead its advisory division.
Real estate professional Andrew Park has returned to McGees Property as director – advisory, 20 years after starting his career with the firm, where he spent four years.
Park will work alongside Rachel Elliott, in the same role, to expand McGees’ real estate advisory offering across Adelaide, South Australia and nationwide.
His experience includes delivering strategies and managing property matters across corporate, government, profit-for-purpose and private sectors
His specialties include portfolio optimisation, strategic transaction advisory, feasibility, negotiation, due diligence and contract management.
Park said returning to McGees allowed him the opportunity to use his skills and expertise to support the next stage of the firm's advisory division.
He said he intended to help fill the gap in the market for practical, cost-effective real estate advice that helped organisations and their clients make better decisions.
“We see a particular opportunity across defence, government and profit-for-purpose sectors, where complex property decisions require strategic advice grounded in real-world experience,” he said.
According to Elliot, the pair’s combined experience and capabilities made them well-positioned to help clients manage risk, identify opportunities and make informed decisions.
McGees managing partner, Simon Lambert, said the Advisory division also assisted clients with real estate strategy and problem-solving, maximising value, improving operational outcomes and supporting long-term investment.
“Only 12 months on from launching this new division, we’ve really bolstered our advisory team and our service capabilities with high-quality appointments,” Lambert said.
