The property market is faring well for Harcourts, with the realty group opening two new office locations in Geelong Victoria, and Canning Vale Western Australia.

Donna Ellmer-Buckingham, business owner of the new office in Geelong, is confident that her business will enjoy great success and long-term growth.

"The real estate market in Geelong is very vibrant and has been for many years. We have a great mix of homes from around $200,000 to well over $1million which means, regardless of the market, we can always cater to buyers. If the market is tight, we can sell to the lower end and when the top end is booming, we can cater to that as well," Ms Buckingham said.

Smilarly, Harcourts Elite Canning Vale business owner, Atul Kapoor said he chose to establish his business in Canning Vale due to the suburb's close proximity to Perth's CBD, and the increasing demand for quality properties in the area.

"Buyers believe that homes in Canning Vale are competitively priced and offer excellent value for money and is within a short travelling distance to the Perth CBD," Mr Kapoor said.

"As the economy continues to improve and construction costs being to rise, I expect that demand for homes in Canning Vale and surrounding areas will also increase as it becomes a more attractive location for people looking to buy an established home rather than building a new one," he said.
