Spring brings buyer appeal

Agents should capitalise on the warmer weather when selling properties, by using the flowering environment to enhance buyer appeal.

According to First National Real Estate national communications manager Stewart Bunn, increased buyer activity, improved market conditions and stronger competition in the warmer months means agents should be working work extra hard to catch the attention of buyers.

“Home owners should never underestimate the importance of landscaping a property to maximise the value of their home,” Mr Bunn said.

“Street appeal, especially landscaping, has the potential to add up to 10 per cent, or more, to an achievable sale price of a property.”
