Estate agents are embracing the latest development in world technology, with one real estate group jumping on the i-pad bandwagon.

The Ray White Group has launched the world’s first iPad/iPhone application aimed solely at real estate agents.

According to Ray White Group deputy chairman Sam White, the platform provides agents with a list of questions to ask to potential buyers about a property. Responses collected from prospective buyers can then be forwarded to the owners at the end of an inspection, helping to make the communication process faster and more transparent.

“This will provide greater convenience for agents and more accurate, substantial and up-to-date feedback for clients,” Mr White said.

Mr White said the app has been received well among professionals and clients alike.

“A number of agents are excited about the simplicity of the program compared with spreadsheets and have really taken flight with the app,” he said.

“Clients are also impressed with the technology.”

Ray White has introduced the software as part of its Young Professionals in Real Estate (YPIRE) program, which aims to help young people succeed in the industry.

“More than ever, young professionals are achieving amazing things in real estate,” Mr White said.

“Some of our best sales operators, property managers and business owners are in their early 20s and 30s.”
