Ray White Victoria chief executive officer Marcus Williams has resigned to pursue outside business interests.

Mr Williams, who took over as the Victorian chief executive officer 18 months ago, said he had enjoyed his nine years with the Ray White Group immensely but was now looking forward to the next stage of his career.

“Ray White Group has had great success in Victoria over the past two years and we have enjoyed unprecedented residential sales growth over that time,” Mr Williams said.

“I depart with Victoria in great shape and we have significantly increased our statewide market share, particularly over the last 12 months.”

Ray White joint chairman Brian White said Mr Williams had made a significant contribution to the group, which included being national sales executive with Ray White-affiliated mortgage broker Loan Market.

“During his time with us Marcus has brought an energy and enthusiasm to our business.” Mr White said.

“He has made a significant contribution to the company and its people and on behalf of our family we would like to thank him and wish him all the best for the next stage of his career.”
