The Marrickville branch of Raine & Horne excelled at the estate agency’s recent NSW/ACT Chairman’s Awards.
The branch took home 10 awards for its stellar performance in 2010.
Raine & Horne Marrickville principal Michael Smith said 2010 was an enormous year for the real estate, having recorded an 88 per cent clearance rate for the year.
“I have been telling people for the past 30 years that Marrickville is a great market,” Mr Smith said.
“We have calculated that around 64 per cent of our buyers and investors are from the local area and the Inner West and this influenced our marketing.”
Raine & Horne chief executive officer Angus Raine commended the Marrickville office for its outstanding contribution and dedication to the Inner West property market.
“Winning these awards underlines Raine & Horne Marrickville’s consistent ability to remain true to its core business, which is achieving property sales and providing the very best property services to vendors and buyers,” Mr Raine said.
