Domain launches new app

By Matthew Sullivan 23 May 2011 | 5 minute read

Building on the success of the iApp, Domain has now set its sights on the Android phone market.

According to company spokesperson Nic Cola, Domain decided it was prudent to enter the android market after new research found smartphone ownership had increased by 43 per cent.

The new app enables Australians to search for buy/rent/share and sold properties, view details page, send email enquiries to agents and friends and add listings to shortlist.

It also includes an inspection planner, which saves properties the user may like to inspect, and sends directions to the chosen property while alerting the user to any inspection time clashes.

“The market has already reacted very positively to the introduction of the company’s current mobile applications,” Mr Cola said.

“It is expected the Android application will also be well received further adding to Domain’s ability to equip the property industry with timely and accurate information about the property market across Australia.”
