Macquarie strengthens residential real estate segment

Principals and franchisees may have more luck securing finance for their business following the appointment of a new head at Macquarie Bank’s residential real estate segment.

The appointment of Shaun Bassett as head of its residential real estate segment will place greater focus on business banking services and funding to the industry.

 
 

“We pride ourselves on our segment specialisation, making it our business to understand the sectors in which we work, and the challenges and opportunities that face our clients in their respective industries,” Macquarie Relationship Banking’s head of sales, David Gonano said.

“Mr Basset has shown great commitment to ensuring we provide tailored services and products for the real estate industry.”

With more than ten years’ experience in business banking, Mr Bennet has worked primarily with the residential real estate industry.
