International real estate group RE/MAX has revealed the group’s top 100 international professionals, with several of its Australian agents making the grade.
The RE/MAX Top 100 outlines the group’s leading international real estate professionals, excluding agents from Canada and the US, between January to May 2011. More than 20 Australian agents were recognised for their individual performances or team leadership.
RE/MAX Success Toowoomba Queensland principal Ian Knight was the nation’s highest ranked individual performer, and placed eighth in the company’s international arena.
Speaking to Real Estate Business, Mr Knight attributes his success to having a strong presence and trust in the local community.
“Agents need to develop a strong profile in their community, and position themselves as a local expert. This will establish a much wider network and create many more business opportunities,” he said.
RE/MAX Results Queensland’s John Kubatov, who was ranked 26th, believes all agents need to have a passion for real estate in order to achieve success.
“This industry is a people business and if you want to be success you need to be really passionate about what you do,” he said.
“If you are passionate about your career, you will do whatever it takes to achieve results for your clients and will be more than willing to put in the hard work.”
