The opening of a new Professionals Real Estate Group office in Brisbane is part of a concerted push to build the company’s east coast presence in the next two years, the chief executive, Glyn Morgan, said this week.

West End local and property specialist Peter Elisseos has joined Professionals Group, opening a new office, Professionals Style Real Estate, in South Brisbane.

“We have identified several key markets along the east coast in which we really want to expand and strengthen the brand presence of Professionals Group in the next two years,’’ Mr Morgan said.

“The opening of Professionals Style Real Estate is one of the first moves as part of this expansion strategy.”

“There is still substantial scope for further expansion of Professionals network within Australia.

“I believe that once the real estate market awakens from its slumber, there will be substantial demand for professional quality real estate agencies throughout the nation and we want to position ourselves now to be a part of that upsurge.”

Mr Morgan said Professionals Real Estate Group’s membership model gave the chain an advantage over most of its rivals.

Mr Elisseos, who previously worked as a salesman for a rival agency, said he joined Professionals Group because “it was the right fit”.

“I feel the brand is still young and vibrant and I really like the direction the company is moving in,’’ said Mr Elisseos. “I also prefer the membership business model and Professionals’ policy of supporting the Breast Cancer Foundation and the concept of giving back to the community."
