David Gonano, head of sales at Macquarie Relationship Banking, said Mr Tower will focus on further promoting the business’ growth in the commercial real estate agency segment.

“Commercial real estate agents [are] one of our largest segments and despite the challenging market environment we are continuing to see strong growth."

“Wayne will be focusing on the national coordination of our strategies to ensure we continue to provide a unique service offering to our clients by delivering innovation and excellent service.

“Our ability to offer dedicated relationship managers, solutions that improve efficiencies in our clients’ back office, and payment and cashflow funding services is, we believe, unmatched in the market."
