LJ Hooker Victoria has announced the addition of four new offices to its state network with plans to open doors to business in September.

The new Victorian offices will be located in Footscray, Somerville, Endeavour Hills and Melbourne Central Business District.

Ashley Bramich, LJ Hooker’s head of Network Development for Victoria and Tasmania, said the network’s growth was due in part, to the recent softening market conditions as many smaller real estate agencies looked to align themselves with larger national networks.

“In a tightening market there is a movement towards brand recognition and loyalty. I believe we will see the stronger brands grow as smaller operators either sell their businesses or align themselves with larger more successful operators,” he said.

Mr Bramich said he expected more new offices for the LJ Hooker Victorian network in the short and medium term based on increased enquires from independent agents feeling the pressure of a challenging market.

“We’ve had a number of enquiries from prospective businesses looking to align themselves with LJ Hooker,” he said.

”There are many people in the business community expecting the market to get a lot tougher; we are expecting further expansion of the LJ Hooker network because of it.”
