An LJ Hooker real estate principal has won the 2011 Western Australian Commonwealth Bank Business Owner Award at the 2011 Telstra Western Australian Business Women’s Awards.

LJ Hooker Leeming principal Pauline Francis, who is ranked in the top one per cent of the group’s national network, was one of 16 finalists chosen from hundreds of nominees, the group said in a statement.

“I feel incredibly proud and honoured to be receiving an award such as this, and have been absolutely humbled by the entire experience,” Ms Francis said.

Ms Francis was the first Western Australian woman to be admitted to LJ Hooker’s 'Board of Admirals' international network, and she and her husband Darryl were named the network’s franchise owner of the year for WA.

Ms Francis, who runs an office of 20 property management and sales staff, will now proceed to the national finals of the Telstra Business Women’s Awards, which will be held in Melbourne on 18 November.
