realestateVIEW.com.au has launched its real estate app, VIEW, for Android and iPad, following the release of its iPhone app last month.

“We’ve had such a positive market reaction to VIEW that we were keen to extend our reach even further by providing consumers with access to trustworthy property information across multiple platforms,” said Petra Sprekos, general manager at realestateVIEW.com.au.

Updated daily, the free app combines up-to-date sales, auction results and median prices for NSW, Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania, with the ability to search for properties, allowing house hunters to keep on top of the property market with the most current information available.

“House hunters now have the ability to access industry data to research properties and make informed decisions on the fly, regardless if they’re using a mobile or tablet device,” Ms Sprekos said.

The app also works as a personal planner, allowing potential buyers to “check in” to properties and keep track of the homes they’ve visited. It also allows buyers to plan their property search, and real estate agents can be contacted directly through the app.

realestateVIEW.com.au, which features around 200,000 listings, is the third largest property portal in Australia, reaching an audience of one million unique visitors a month.
