The Real Estate Institute of Queensland (REIQ) has appointed Anton Kardash as its new CEO.

“I am looking forward to the challenges that the current market conditions have brought to everyone working within the real estate profession,” Mr Kardash said.

“I have always had a strong interest in, and commitment to, best practice and the provision of quality services and intend to further develop the REIQ’s suite of consumer and member initiatives.”

Mr Kardash began with the REIQ in the New Year and was most recently at the helm of Aged Care Queensland.

He replaces Dan Molloy, who held the positions of REIQ chief executive officer and managing director since January 2007.

According to a statement from the REIQ, Mr Kardash said he had joined the Institute at an exciting time with the continual growth of its flagship website reiq.com providing more opportunities for the general public to connect with REIQ accredited agencies and their more than 90,000 property listings.

“The REIQ will also be launching a cutting-edge e-learning platform in the near future which is set to revolutionise the delivery of real estate training in Queensland, while maintaining the REIQ’s very high level of educational standards.”
