The country’s best performing real estate sales offices have been ranked and revealed in the groundbreaking Real Estate Business Top 50 Sales Offices report.

The inaugural ranking, partnered by RP Data, rated sales offices agents across a range of 2011/2012 financial year criteria, including sales volumes, sales numbers, conversion rates and office efficiency.

Ray White Rockingham in Western Australia topped the prestigious ranking, with the team of 15 salespeople posting 508 sales worth an impressive $215 million.

The Ray White network performed strongly across the report, with eight Ray White offices making it into the Top 50 Sales Offices list. Fellow national brand Raine & Horne was a close second, with seven of its offices making the final list.

On a state by state basis New South Wales offices dominated the report, with 23 of the report’s elite real estate sales agencies operating in New South Wales markets.

The results are testimony to the hard work and leadership shown by principals, many of which operate in incredibly tough and competitive markets, according to Simon Parker, editor of Real Estate Business.

“The Real Estate Business Top 50 Sales Offices ranking gives us an insight into what some of the top performing offices do to stay ahead of their competition," he said.

“This report highlights some of the most effective and productive sales offices in Australia, and incorporates an array of businesses from various parts of the country including regional areas.

“The goal of our unique ranking was to look beyond sales figures and provide a clearer insight into how these successful businesses operate.”

Data collected for the Top 50 Sales Offices ranking included sales numbers, sales volumes, staff numbers and listing numbers, among other information, with research partner RP Data independently verifying the sales data provided by every office.

In isolated instances, where RP Data did not have sufficient data to verify an office’s submission, figures were verified by a senior member of the agency or network.
