A NSW group has forged an alliance with a property search engine to enhance consumer exposure to both brands.

Estate Agents Co-operative (EAC) announced their collaboration with Nestoria yesterday, which will feature select agent’s listings from the Co-operative’s real estate portal, realestateworld.com.au.

“We are constantly looking at ways to add value to our offerings and we will be uploading to Nestoria the listings for all real estate offices that are on our portal’s Pro and Elite packages,” said David Crombie, EAC CEO.

“This will provide an enhanced level of consumer exposure for their office and listings on realestateworld.com.au by piggy backing off the Nestoria search engine.”

Mr Crombie said the relationship had been driven by Simon Baker, the former CEO and managing director of REA Group.

“Australia is a global leader in using the internet to search for property,” said Mr Baker, CEO of Classified Ad Ventures. Nestoria Australia is a joint venture between Lokku Ltd in the UK and Classified Ad Ventures Pty Ltd in Australia.

“There are around 25 property portals and franchise group sites serving the market. These sites are our partners.

“They provide the listings and pay for clicks at a fraction of the cost they pay on Google. We are an entry point for real estate consumers and property portals are the destination,” he said.

According to the Nestoria Australia website, current partners include Domain, realestateVIEW and Raine & Horne. The site was launched in March 2010.
