If leading the commercial and finance arms of one of the nation’s largest franchises wasn’t enough, Marcus Williams has taken on the additional role of group operations manager for Harcourts.

Since beginning to lead Mortgage Express in 2011 and Harcourts’ commercial division in 2012, Mr Williams is ‘perfectly placed’ to take on his new role according to managing director of Harcourts International, Mike Green.

“He is an outstanding real estate professional who is well respected throughout Harcourts and the entire real estate industry,” Mr Green said.

“I have no doubt he has the skills, commitment and passion required to lead Harcourts to be number one within Australia.

“Marcus is an innovative thinker with over 20 years’ experience in real estate and financial services and is perfectly placed to take on this role.”

Working directly with the Australian state CEOs, Mr Williams’ objective is to ensure Harcourts continues to increase its market coverage and market share across Australia.

Mr Williams will also work directly with the leaders of Harcourts’ various brands and business units across Australia to drive results in these areas.

“It is critical that Harcourts’ Australian operations have the focus, resources and leadership to achieve even greater success, and Marcus will ensure this happens,” Mr Green said.

Mr Williams will continue to lead both Mortgage Express and NAI Harcourts as CEO.
