Coronis Realty has launched its new website this week as part of a major rebranding aimed at modernising the company and attracting a younger generation.

Managing director of Coronis Realty Andrew Coronis said the basis of the site was to be cleaner and simpler to use from a client perspective.

“We didn’t want to clog it up and we actually stripped away a lot of stuff from our old site,” he said. “We will monitor pages and if it’s not getting enough hits or it’s getting a high bounce rate, it generally means people don’t like it and we will change it. This will be an evolving thing that will be done each month.”

The website is part of the group’s $500,000 rebranding effort, designed to more closely align it with a younger generation of customers.

Mr Coronis said his agency had come to a point where it needed to be revamped, as it had been working with the same look since 1988.

“We never had a modern, clean look, as we always concentrated on building a big business first and then we wanted to get it to the stage of looking flash,” he said.

“The point was to bring us up to a modern standard and to appeal to a broader range of market, which happens when you look cleaner, neater and flasher.”

As part of the new look, the group has redesigned their logo, stripping it from the agency’s full name to simply a letter-C, which has been shaped to look like a Google Maps pin.

“It’s something that young people can assimilate with very easily because it’s used every day when they’re on their phones and Googling and checking apps,” Mr Coronis said. “The idea was to try to incorporate a well-known logo and into our logo.

“We want the logo to be the recognisable point of Coronis Realty, rather than the name.”

Over the next three and a half years, the 30 year-old group hopes to grow its offices from 18 to 50.

“The whole idea about the rebranding was we needed to do that so that we get the bones and the branding right now, so as we expand it’s already in place,” Mr Coronis said.

In the coming months, Coronis Realty will unveil its refurbished Brisbane headquarters and it will launch a major advertising campaign.
