An independent agency has been recognised as the most successful real estate office in Western Australia for the third year in a row.
Peard Real Estate Hillarys has been named the number one selling real estate office in Western Australia by the Real Estate Institute of Western Australia (REIWA).
At the recent REIWA awards, the group won the awards for Top Office Listings Sold and Top Office for Value Sold covering the year between July 2012 and June 2013.
During the last financial year, Peard Real Estate Hillarys sold 669 properties to the value of $439,810,930.
According to Byron Wallace, licensee of Peard Real Estate Hillarys, the office sold properties valued at more than $1 million every working day during the last financial year.
“Everyone at Peard Real Estate Hillarys is delighted to have received these prestigious awards, which put our office at number one in Western Australia for a third year in a row,” he said.
“Peard Real Estate Hillarys was the very first office for the Peard Group, opening its doors in 1997.
“Our longevity and ongoing success is due to the fact our high level of services has been provided to local property owners on a consistent basis, year in year out.
“We would like to thank our clients for their ongoing support, which has enabled us to achieve this success."
Mr Wallace said the coming year was looking to be another successful one for the office due to low interest rates driving strong demand and rising property prices in the surrounding area.
