PRD puts weight behind research arm

By Stacey Moseley 04 February 2014 | 5 minute read

PRDnationwide has strengthened its offering through the appointment of a national research manager to its corporate team in Brisbane.

With over six years of experience, Dr Diaswati (Asti) Mardiasmo joins the team to further the network's research capabilities and offerings nationwide.

PRDnationwide managing director Tony Brasier welcomed Dr Mardiasmo’s addition to the research arm.

“Asti is a strategic thinker with a polished academic and professional record,” he said.

“PRD has always been at the forefront of residential property research in Australia. Her addition to the PRDnationwide team will strengthen our research capabilities at national, regional and local levels, and provide us with additional firepower when tackling challenges associated with business strategy, corporate and good governance implementation, government liaison, economic analysis and forecasting.”

Dr Mardiasmo has spent the previous six years executing her research, analytical and evaluation skills in various high-level government policy-related roles.

She recently spearheaded a complex joint initiative between the Queensland Department of Health, Royal Children’s Hospital and Queensland University of Technology as project manager and research associate. She has also delivered papers on public sector asset management and infrastructure.
