With more than 400 entries in the first week, the Real Estate Business Awards are shaping up to be a spectacular event, according to general manager of Rockend John Goddard.
“We just love promoting anything that’s about running a really good business and excelling, which is why we chose to sponsor this event,” Mr Goddard told Real Estate Business.
“Last year was really interesting to see how it all came together and it was a good mix of businesses that entered … the categories are diverse, which gives more businesses greater scope to showcase their talents.”
With two weeks remaining until submissions close, there have been over 400 entrants for the 2014 awards.
“Four hundred is a great number, especially seeing as we’re only at the halfway point,” Mr Goddard said.
“It’s interesting to get exposure to a different form of judging. When you put yourself forward for judging you open yourself and test your own capabilities.
“Speaking with one of the winners last year, that individual said he found it very stimulating to be tested the way he was, through the judging and interview process – there’s a lot you can learn from this experience, even if you don’t win.”
