With the listings sites slugging it out over fees, realestateVIEW.com.au has announced it has penned partnerships with another real estate institute and an online publisher.

Petra Sprekos, general manager at realestateVIEW.com.au, which is a major shareholder is the Real Estate Institute of Victoria (REIV), told Real Estate Business the site had agreed a content sharing arrangement with the Real Estate Institute of Queensland (REIQ), while confirming the launch of a new listings partnership with The New Daily from July 1.

"The REIQ and realestateVIEW.com.au have agreed on a content sharing agreement,” said Ms Sprekos, adding that she's delighted the REIQ is joining its counterparts in Victoria and New South Wales in getting on board with the portal.

"What I can say is the REIQ will continue to have [its own] portal with about 100,000 listings, and we will share content with them, with all of their listings on our website,” said Ms Sprekos.

She said top of the company’s current agenda is to get structure right.

“REIV is our major shareholder, but that won't necessarily always be the same,” said Ms Sprekos, adding that part of what realestateVIEW.com.au has done is engage its capital adviser to look at the model for the industry. "Hopefully in the next month or two we’ll be in a position to put a formal offer out to the greater industry," she said.

Ms Sprekos said that The New Daily partnership will help the company grow and give it more reach and frequency to consumers, while she confirmed that realestateVIEW.com.au is in talks with a number of international media companies about a deal to expand its website.
