LJ Hooker has already added 12 new offices in 2015, with more openings scheduled for the second quarter.

The openings have been shared between Victoria, Queensland, Western Australia and South Australia. Eight of the 12 new additions are in the capitals.

Head of real estate Christopher Mourd said this is part of LJ Hooker’s ongoing growth strategy, and that more openings are scheduled for the next three months.

“The start of a new year often brings with it new offices joining the network, but the new batch of 2015 has been larger than usual,” Mr Mourd said.

“Our franchise offering is creating strong levels of interest from independent real estate operators and successful business people from other sales and customer-centric industries.”

LJ Hooker has more than 550 offices in Australia.

That includes new offices in the Melbourne suburbs of Keysborough, Mt Waverley and Burwood, as well as the Adelaide suburbs of Aldinga and Christies Beach.

The new Queensland offices have been placed in the Brisbane suburb of Narangba and the regional communities of Robina/Varsity, Coolum and Whitsunday.

LJ Hooker has also added offices to the Perth suburbs of Subiaco and North Beach, as well as the regional town of Bunbury.

Meanwhile, LJ Hooker has appointed George Sattout as its new state manager for Victoria and Tasmania as it looks to grow that arm of its business.

Mr Sattout comes from a finance background, having worked at ANZ, RAMS and Esanda Finance Corporate Leasing.

“I have seen and been involved with franchises that have grown from inception to well-established and successful businesses,” he said.

“The LJ Hooker corporate team presents a great opportunity to be part of a business that offers a well-rounded solution that encompasses real estate, finance and property management.”
