vendor demand

Harcourts has launched a portal service that gives clients easy access to new documents and prompts them about upcoming events.

The portal allows vendors to follow the sale of their property and access key data and documents around the clock.

Chief information officer Jason Wills said vendors expressed their desire for instant information about their transactions in a recent client survey.

“We appreciated that our clients wanted to hear about their property’s progress on the go and that it’s not always convenient for clients to meet face-to-face,” Mr Wills said.

The portal will include their marketing plan and calendar, marketing reports and feedback about their property.

Another benefit is that vendors will be able to see how their property is performing on the real estate portals where their property is marketed.

Vendors will also receive a notification each time agents upload new information or documents to the portal.

Reminders can be set up so vendors are alerted before important events like meetings, open homes and auctions.
