Agency bosses prepare to network with Richard Branson

Excellent video marketing doesn't only sell homes – it can also score an audience with global celebrities.

The two leaders of Toop&Toop Real Estate can thank their in-house video production crew after winning a trip to the World Business Forum in New York, where Richard Branson and Kevin Spacey are among the speakers.

Genevieve Toop, who heads the agency’s sales and marketing, and Suzannah Toop, who runs the property management division, won Nova Entertainment’s Take Your Story Global competition with a video produced by Toop&Toop’s advertising studio team.

The winning video related the challenges the sisters faced when they suddenly had to take control of the agency in 2012 after their father, Anthony Toop, was diagnosed with cancer.

Nova Entertainment Adelaide general manager Neil O’Reilly said Toop&Toop submitted an outstanding entry.

“The entry had to be of the highest standard and has beaten off a number of big east coast competitors, including top media agencies, to take the first prize,” he said.

The World Business Forum is being held today. The event has attracted more than 4,000 senior executives from more than 50 countries, according to organisers.
