Domain Group has unveiled another development aimed at making its portal more attractive to consumers.

The new feature, Track My Home, allows homeowners to get an even more accurate value estimate for their property.

Track My Home is an update to the recently launched Home Price Guide app, which provides the estimated value, history and photos of 13 million properties in Australia.

Now, homeowners can get a more accurate estimate by sharing details of recent renovations, extensions and refreshes.

Chief product officer Damon Pezaro said Track My Home would make consumers more confident when researching on-market and off-market properties.

“When it comes to property value estimates, the data from recent sales, neighbouring properties and similar properties in the area can only tell us so much. Who knows their property better than the property owners themselves?” he said.

“By combining owner information with the Australian Property Monitors data, Track My Home makes it easy for property owners to monitor the value of their home, so they know when it’s a good time to sell.”
